How it works

Select the appropriate plating services for the jewellery you'd like us to replate.
Once you have submitted your order, you will be given instructions on how to send your jewellery to us.
Once received, our team will replate your jewellery within 3-4 working days.
Your jewellery will be sent back to you via Special Delivery free of charge, ready to be worn again.

How long does replating last?

The longevity of replating depends on how often you wear your jewellery and how well it's cared for. With proper maintenance, replating can last anywhere from one to three years before needing touch-ups.

Can all types of jewellery be replated?

Yes, most jewellery made of precious metals like gold, silver, and platinum can be replated. However, some materials, such as costume jewellery or pieces with non-metallic coatings, may not be suitable for replating.

What does the gold replating actually look like, can you match shades?

We currently have one colour which is 18ct yellow gold, this is standard with many
brands and designers in the UK.

What is the difference between the microns?

The microns represent the layer of gold that is used to replate your jewellery, the higher the micron the thicker and harder wearing the plating will be, we make recommendations for durability on all the available products.

Will plating effect engraving?

Plating will not affect engraving unless the engraving is very worn.

Mainland UK Delivery

Sending Your Jewellery to Us

You are responsible for the cost of sending your jewellery to us for replating.

We recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery, which starts from £9.95. Prices vary depending on the parcel weight, delivery speed, and level of compensation cover selected.

How to send your item:

Carefully wrap your jewellery in protective packaging.
Print your order confirmation email and place it inside the parcel.
Take your parcel to your local Post Office and send it using Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Keep your proof of postage and tracking number until your order has been completed and returned to you.

Free Return Shipping

Once your jewellery has been replated, we will return it to you free of charge within Mainland UK.

Please note:

Signature is required on delivery. If no one is available to receive the parcel, Royal Mail will leave instructions for rearranging delivery or collection.
We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time.
Returned parcels are sent using a tracked service, allowing delivery to be confirmed.
Royal Mail does not normally deliver on Sundays. Saturday delivery is subject to Royal Mail availability in your area.
Multiple items included in the same order will be returned together in one parcel where possible.

International Customers
